Compunction ::: Defined: a feeling of uneasiness or anxiety of the conscience caused by regret for doing wrong or causing pain; contrition; remorse.

Built as a "practice film", Compunction came together for Transdimensional Films in less than 36 hours. The idea was designed by W. Jeff Crawford and was begun in the dining area of a Hardee's Restaurant in York, Pennsylvania. There, with many of the Transdimensional Films team, they began to create the premise for this short movie.

The idea started as a concept of two friends sitting and chatting about something important. It quickly moved to one person waiting for another. With a lack of actors on-hand, it was determined early that the group's producer and another would be used as actors. The group continued to talk about the storyline. When a majority of the plot and psuedo-script was in place (and others finally arrived...), the group left to film at a local park.

Once they arrived at the park, the equipment was staged and the players moved into their positions. A few checks were made, and , since it was so late in the day, it was determined that the filming would need to be quick. Within 2.5 hours, the movie would be shot.

Practice films are an EXCELLENT way for the group to stay on top of the game. It allows time to dust off equipment and talent and keep the filmmaking spirit alive. Compunction is the first in a long line of practice films yet to come.

Many thanks to all those who participated in this project!

And no, this isn't a trailer. It's a complete short film.
